North Carolina Housing Finance Agency, since its creation in 1973 by the General Assembly, has financed more than 118,000 affordable homes and apartments for North Carolina citizens. Its mission is to lead in creating affordable housing opportunities through the effective investment of public and private capital, professionalism, and responsiveness to the needs of its partners and the people it serves.
